Where we use AI
We use AI systems for the first draft of the editorial arguments (“Pro & Contra”) below questions and duels, for translating the site’s content into the languages we offer, and for pre-screening submitted comments. In other words, we use AI to make Sensya a good place for real people – not to give AI a place on the internet.
What is labelled — and what is not
The editorial arguments carry no AI label. They are reviewed, approved and editorially answered for by a human before publication; in that case the labelling obligation under Art. 50(4) of the AI Act does not apply. They are commentary, not reporting: they appear under the byline “Redaktion”, never under a person’s name, and deliberately contain no statistics, studies or quotations. We publish no AI-generated images, video or audio depicting real people, places or events.
Automated moderation
Every submitted comment is screened automatically before publication. If a comment is rejected or held back, we say so and point out that the decision was taken by automated means (Art. 17 DSA). You can have the decision reviewed — write to hi@sensya.org.
